Why Bangkok evening send windows often look quieter than they are

Commute, dinner, and late scrolling reshape open rates. Here is how we read evening timing without overreacting to a single slow hour.

Teams often cut evening sends after seeing a dip between 18:00 and 19:30. In Bangkok that dip frequently tracks commute and dinner—not disinterest. Opens often recover later the same night, especially for lifestyle and commerce apps.

When we study notification timing, we separate first open from same-day action. A message opened at 21:10 can still convert if the content matches an evening mindset. Cutting the whole evening block because of an early trough can remove your best recovery window.

Start with a two-week send log split by hour and by weekday. Mark public holidays separately. Then decide whether to shift, split, or protect the late window—before you delete it.
